
J'Anmetra Waddell is the Owner of Waddell Consulting Services and has been helping family and friends for years realize their dreams of owning their own business, and working with others to get started in the non-profit world. She is also the Best Selling #1 Author of Fearless Woman Born To Give Thanks
A graduate of Limestone College, J'Anmetra earned a double major with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and English Literature. Later receiving her MBA from The University of Phoenix in Healthcare Management and is currently working on her PhD in Leadership.
J'Anmetra started in the Non Profit world by assisting a Non Profit group obtain the elementary school she attended as a child; which later adopted the Vision that she wrote and today hangs outside the door of her 5th grade class room. From there she became a Board Member for that Non Profit and later helped to start two non profits. In Raleigh, North Carolina, J'Anmetra had the privilege to serve as the Treasure for the Wake County Board of Commissioners for Women and represented women in her District on the local and state levels.
Over the years J'Anmetra has helped coach friends and associates understand the difference between the non profit and for profit world as well as direct them in the path of their passion!
As a female business owner who has had to pull herself up by her bootstraps personally and when building her business, J’Anmetra is uniquely positioned to understand the many nuisances business owners face when they’re just starting out. As a survivor of both childhood and adult domestic violence and abuse, J'Anmetra is a strong advocate for victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Speaking candidly about the issues of domestic violence and abuse with emphasis on empowering individuals who are victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. She presents a very unique point of view of both a childhood and adult survivor of domestic abuse and violence.
Further, J'Anmetra advocates for the prevention of domestic violence and abuse by educating individuals and bringing awareness to the community. Her believe is that the survivors are the teachers who carry the message of education, awareness and empowerment to their families and their communities.
